She was predeceased by : her husband Victor Hannam; and her siblings, Jean Devine, Audrey McEwan and Edward Albert. She is survived by : her son Frederick Read (Linda); her grandchildren, Shauna Read-Overhoff (Jeff), Kelly Read, Michael Read (Kayleigh), Carter, Spencer Overhoff, Everleigh Read and Finnley Mascheroni; her nephew Terry McEwan (Janet); and her niece Sheila Stephens (Bill).

Donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
