With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ronald McGetchie (Kanata, Ontario), who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Ronald McGetchie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Theresa; and his son Phillip McGetchie. He is survived by : his children, Roger (Jodie), Elaine Vandermeer (Henry), Sheila Larmour (Mervin) and Kevin (Paula); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Alishia, Tommy, Randy, Melissa, Paige and Norah; and his sisters, Margie, Kathy, Doris, Juanita and Edna. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.

For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
