John Kenneth Casey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Kenneth Casey of Kanata, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his parents, Irene Casey and Michael Casey; his parents-in-law, Rita and Martin O'Rourke; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret, Stephen and Francis.

He is survived by: his children, Donna (Jim) and Frank; his granddaughters, Bridget and Katie; his uncle Patrick Lennon; his siblings, Pat (Sharon), Lorne, Catherine (Jim), Michael, Bill (Margaret) and Gerry; his siblings-in-law, Marlene (late Michael), Terry (late Gerry), Tom (Barb), Barkley (Gwen), Clem (Pat), Willie (Glenda), Leo (Chris), Rita Ann, Mary (late Mike) and Helen (John); his siblings' children, Greg Casey, Trevor Casey and Sarah Casey; and his great-niece Felicity Casey.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Fallowfield Roman Catholic Church (15 Steeple Hill Crescent, Nepean, ON K2R1G2). A reception was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kemptville District Hospital, the CHEO Foundation or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation gratefully accepted.
