Margaret Maureen (Waterson) Laplante Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Maureen (Waterson) Laplante (Kanata, Ontario), who passed away on January 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband Paul Laplante; her sons, Douglas Terry (Serena) and Jim Terry (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Christina, Steven, Leah, Kamryn, Morgan, Mackenzie, Stacy, Thomas, Isaac, Skye, Essie, Naomi, Sophia and Stephanie; and her extended family, Waterson and Laplante.

Her moving down to the Ottawa area before the pandemic meant that she could share more stories, insights and enjoy life closer to family.

It was Maureen's wish that she be remembered fondly and rather than sending flowers, please make a contribution to the Cancer Society's research so other mothers can live as long as she did.
