She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Donald M. Burns; her former husband Matthew J. Hayes; her daughter Megan Hayes of Montreal Quebec; her brother D. Reilly Watson of Ottawa; and her parents, David McDonald Watson and Sadie Sorel-Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Hayes (Abdu) of Tunisia, John Hayes (Janis) of Ottawa and Margaret Hayes-Lussier of Chertsey Quebec; her grandchildren, Andrea, Christine, Marc, Matthew, Michael, William and Shannon; her great grandchildren, Katya, Willyam, Alexandra, Arianne and Julianna; her great great grandchildren, Jayden, Leila and Dylan; her sister-in-law Wendy Quain-Watson of Ottawa; Karen, Joanne, Bob and Ken Watson (Whitey). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
