We are sad to announce that, on November 28, 2025, at the age of 96, Michalina (Zarinchuk) Bazan (Kanata, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michalina departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michalina may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michalina leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her grandmother Baba; and her parents, Waszyl Zarinchuk and Paraska Downanyk. She is survived by: her husband John Michael Bazan; and her children, Frederick Bazan (Beatrice Danese) of Montreal and Christine Bazan (Mario Le Cavalier) of Ottawa, Ontario.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
