He was predeceased by : his children, Hal and Wendy (Edward McParland); his parents, Patrick Joseph McLaughlin and Lena Daly; and his siblings, Eva, Martin, Helen, Bertha, Julia and Cleta.

He is survived by : his wife Lois; his children, Grant (Beth Smith) and Sharon (Marcel Charron); his grandchildren, Erin (Jesse Lacroix), Leanne (Jacques Boyer), James (Ashley Woods), Jodie, Cassidy and Zacharie; his great grandchildren, Noah, Hunter, Nathan Lacroix and Katelynn Boyer; and his sisters, Monica and Evelyn. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, good friends.

As there will be no service at this time, due to the current pandemic, a celebration of Ross' life will take place at a later date.
