It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Hunter of Kanata, Ontario, born in Stockton-on-Tees, North East, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Ruth Hunter.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John; her children, Catherine (Mark), James (Terri) and Elizabeth (Dan); her grandchildren, Emma, Peter, Lauren, Hilary, Cameron and Kate; her brother Jim Aitchison; and her parents, Nellie Aitchison and Jim Aitchison.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Niagara Region may be made in Ruth's memory.
