She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmanuel Doucet and Patrice Godin; her husband Patrick Godin; and her grandson Shawn Godin. She is survived by : her children, Norm (Chrissy) of Newfoundland, Doris Parent of Toronto, Alice Turner, Bert (Chris), Carole Labelle (Gerry), Bob (Denise) of Kapuskasing, Sue (Peter Topps) of Sudbury and Dan (Julie) of British Columbia; and her siblings, Rose Leblanc, John Doucet and Therese O'Brien. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Salon Funéraire Guenette Funeral Home Address (108 Byng Ave, Kapuskasing, ON P5N1X2). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at the Kapuskasing Gospel Hall (154 Mill St, Kapuskasing, ON P5N2V9).
