He was predeceased by: his son Tim; his parents, Stuart Knox and Lilly Knox; and his siblings, Elaine, Donald, Allan and Trevor.
He is survived by: his significant other Anita McCoy; his stepchild Shawn Coombs (Sylvie); his grandchildren, Kyle, Riley, Jessica, Justin, Owen, Michael and Cameron; and his brother Everett (Marion). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
