He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Margaret; his children, Jean Hanson (Diana Ralph) and Irene Hanson (Donald Cameron); his grandchildren, Meghan Ryan (Shawn), Mairi Sasaki (Neil), Claire (Greg Saizew), Neil (Erin Gustafsson) and Emily Cameron; his great grandchildren, Jamie Gooch, Cameron, Isobel and Maggie Sasaki; and his father Dr. Murphy.
