She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Luella McGinnis and William John McGinnis; her husband Melville Leslie Booth; her sisters, Doris Villeneuve (Ernie), Verna Patterson (Claude), Ila Holmes and Evelyn Kane; and her brother-in-law Howard Shaw.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Gerald Kane; and her aunt Vic'. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (130 Colborne St W, Lindsay, ON K9V3T5).
If desired, donations may be made to the Heritage Christian School via cheque through the funeral home.
