Barbara May DeRusha Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, Barbara May DeRusha (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John DeRusha; her mother Millie Sproule; and her brothers, Jack (Mary), Murray and Gordon.

She is survived by: her son David (Donna); her grandchildren, Danielle (Christopher) and Jeffrey (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jordan, Chloe and Sophia; and her nephews, David, Michael (Cherrie) and Rick (Kim).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mackey Funeral Home Chapel (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9). A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9).

As expressions of sympathy memorial donations maybe made by cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
