He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie and Annie; his siblings, George, Jim, Frank, Thomas, Nancy, Eunice, Thelma, Robert and Arthur; and his cousin Reginald Thelwell of Liverpool, UK..
He is survived by : his wife Adeline Sudlow; his children, Ian (Cathy), Caroline (Chris) and Stuart (Karen); his grandchildren, Nathan, Alexandrea, Andrew, Sarah and Gwyneth; his great grandchild Sadie; and his brother-in-law Frank Williams (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
