He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Drake and Effie Drake; and his siblings, George (Helen), Harvey and Glenna Smith (Ivan).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie (Thomas); his grandchildren, Taylor, Marin, Ginger, Vivian, Cole, Finn, Ellie, Ben, Olivia, Violet, Tristan, Brandon, Bradley, Kyle and Ashley; his siblings, Faye Lloyd (Charlie), Dean (late Alma), June Beddows (late Daryl) and Donna Scott (Jim); his sister-in-law Pam (late Keith); his mother-in-law Queenie Rea; his sister Bev Short (Wayne); and his nieces, Sharon and Melanie.
In lieu of flowers donations in Dale's memory can be made to a local charity of your choice.
