With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Elaine Cook (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Deborah may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Susan and Bruce Cook. She is survived by: her husband Paul Pinkney; her sister Barbara Shennett (Peter); and her nieces and nephews, Tamara Cook-Davis (Eric), Jennifer Newton (Matt), Stacie Mandzuk, Kathleen Cook, Tyson Shennett (Laura) and Chad Shennett (Alexandria).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family, and can be made by cheque through the funeral home, or online.
