We bid farewell to Evelyn Walden (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Imrie and Martha Imrie (Scott); her husband Lorne Walden; her daughter Margaret Plaunt; her granddaughter Kimberlee Walden; her great grandchild Dawn Kinkade; her pet Gigi; and her siblings, Dorothy Clyne, Sandy Hoskin (Ron), Gerry Imrie (Judy) and Don Imrie (Carol).
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Blackbourn. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Evelyn had a passion for animals, and would appreciate donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit, or your local Hospice/Community Care. Donations can be made online, or by cheque through the funeral home.
