She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Dykstra. She is survived by: her children, Henry (Anna), Andrea Zekveld (late Dennis), Gracia Wassink (Otto), Robert (Emily) and Claude (Chantelle); her grandchildren, Esther, Justin, Jasmine, Gilbert, Bob, Jonathan, Kamara, Jaben, Caleb, Meghan, Jesse, Hanna, Matteo and Sevren; her sisters, Adriana Struyk and Shirley Hagens; and her brothers-in-law, Peter, Henry and Delton. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Jennings Creek Christian Reformed Church (206 Angeline St N, Lindsay, ON K9V4Y4). A reception was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Bowmanville Cemetery (1330 Haines St, Bowmanville, ON L0B).
