It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce May Rutledge (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), who passed away on August 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, May Irwin and Harold Irwin; and her sister Gwen Ackerman. She is survived by : her sister Linda Jenkins; her son Randy Rutledge (Bev); her grandchildren, Kyle (Carrie) and Carly Reid (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Ozzy, Addison and Avery. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

“Randy: I grew up on the next street to you & was lucky enough to have your Mom as my teacher. Please accept my condolences in the loss of your Mom. You must have been very proud of her and what she accomplished. I liked having your Mom as my teacher and always thought about how difficult it must have been to have your Mom at the same school that you were attending. May it bring you comfort to know that your Mom touched many lives and is remembered with fondness. Judy Chaney”
