She was predeceased by: her husband Andy Krugel; her siblings, Jim (Betty), Carl (Helen), George Thompson, Velma Maunder (Cliff) and Pearl Hampton (Bob); and her parents, Lorne Thompson and Vera Thompson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leisa and Karen Krugel (Kevin Prendergast); her grandchildren, Jaelyn and Jessica; her great grandchild Hazel; her brothers, Marion Thaxter (Dave), Lloyd Thompson (Carole) and Allen Thompson (Theresa); and her sister-in-law Mary-Lou Thompson (George). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
