He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Hickey and Mary Hickey (Flynn); his brothers, Ambrose and Steven; and his siblings-in-law, Dave and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Hillier, Edmund Hickey (Maureen), Jack Hickey (Maureen), Aloysius Hickey (Mary), Mary Donnelly (Pat), Rita Shephard (Bill), Frank Hickey, Marie Hickey and Rose Marie Hickey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (18 Need St, Bobcaygeon, ON K0M1A0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
