He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Marian. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Mitch (Emily); his grandchildren, Cooper and Phoebe; his sisters, Patty Anne (Dave), Angela and Elaine; his siblings-in-law, Doug (Spring) and Debbie; his parents-in-law, Arnold and Adeline; and his cousin Dale (April). He is also survived by many friends and family, including his many nieces, nephews cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family have asked that donations be made in Robbie's honour to Kawartha- Haliburton 4H Association.
