She was predeceased by : her husband Alexander Abernethy (Sandy). She is survived by : her children, Ellen Abernethy, Glen Abernethy (Yvonne Carroll), Ruth Abernethy (Mark Smyth) and Jean Abernethy; her grandchildren, Owen Hadley, Amanda Goncalves, Avory Hadley, Matt Beatty, Dana Abernethy, Patrick Antonio, Aimee Abernethy, Nicholas Abernethy, Glen, Darling Smyth, Alex, Cassandra Smyth, Ben Hubers and Paul Hubers; and her great grandchild Elysia Holly Smyth.
