He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Cecile; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Diane (Shane). He is survived by: his wife Laura Staples; his daughters, Tanya McConnell (Jason), Tricia Staples and Amanda Johnson (Greg); his grandchildren, Adele, Ethan, Willa, Ellie and Joe; his sister Linda (Dave); his in-laws, Bill and Eleanor; his sister-in-law Barb (Doug); and his sibling's children, Emma and Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Lung Transplant Program-UHN, Kawartha Lakes Haliburton 4-H Association or Lindsay Agricultural Society would be appreciated by the family.
