It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Staples (Kawartha Lakes, Ontario), who passed away on June 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Staples to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Cecile; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Diane (Shane). He is survived by: his wife Laura Staples; his daughters, Tanya McConnell (Jason), Tricia Staples and Amanda Johnson (Greg); his grandchildren, Adele, Ethan, Willa, Ellie and Joe; his sister Linda (Dave); his in-laws, Bill and Eleanor; his sister-in-law Barb (Doug); his niece Emma; and his nephew Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home (33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Celebrations (35 Lindsay St N, Lindsay, ON K9V1T3).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Lung Transplant Program-UHN, Kawartha Lakes Haliburton 4-H Association or Lindsay Agricultural Society would be appreciated by the family.
