We are sad to announce that, on July 2, 2025, at the age of 84, Ian Carley (Kemptville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Carley and Peggy Carley; his brother Neil; his sister-in-law Jean Carley; his parents-in-law, Walter and Gladys Pitt; his brother-in-law Ted Moore; his nephew Darrell; Joanne McLean.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Carley (Pitt); his children, Anita, Angela and Andrew (Sarah); his grandchildren, Lia and Graeme Carley; his siblings, John Carley and Sheila; and his brother-in-law Don Van Allen. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As per Ian's wishes, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada (https://www.diabetes.ca), Canadian Cancer Society, St. John's United Church Kemptville, or Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
