He was predeceased by : his parents, Lois and Fredrick; his siblings, Jean Flinn and Fredrick Gillissie (Ted); his nieces, Debbie Wylie (Donna Ginsburg) and Sheila Widdowson; and his nephew Brian Toll.

He is survived by : his sisters, Ann Toll (Wayne) and Peggy Eddy; his sister-in-law Dianne Gillissie; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Kastler (Richard), Nadine Toll (Marc), Shannon Gillissie (Matt), Warren Eddy, Sharon Gillissie (Rick), Mike Gillissie (Azra), Danny Flinn (Sandy), Terry Flinn (Susan), Bobby Flinn (Janice), Jimmy Flinn (Karen), Cindy Sharp (Bruce) and Cheryl Beaton (Rick). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
