He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois and Fredrick; his siblings, Jean Flinn and Fredrick Gillissie (Ted); and his siblings' children, Debbie Wylie (Donna Ginsburg), Brian Toll and Sheila Widdowson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Ann Toll (Wayne) and Peggy Eddy; his sister-in-law Dianne Gillissie; and his siblings' children, Lisa Kastler (Richard), Nadine Toll (Marc), Shannon Gillissie (Matt), Warren Eddy, Sharon Gillissie (Rick), Mike Gillissie (Azra), Danny Flinn (Sandy), Terry Flinn (Susan), Bobby Flinn (Janice), Jimmy Flinn (Karen), Cindy Sharp (Bruce) and Cheryl Beaton (Rick). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
