He was predeceased by: his spouse Claire Gourgon; his father Fernand (Frank); and his brother Gilles Hamann. He is survived by: his siblings, Gabrielle Dalcourt, Gaëtan, André Haman, Joan (Toronto), Fernande Haman (Chesterville), Noel Hamann of Moncton, N. B. and Denise Hamann; and his sister-in-law Paulette Jacques. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
