He was predeceased by : his parents, Ulric Marion and Angélina Marion (Asselin); his son-in-law Bill Marchand (Pepper Reishel); and his siblings, Lucien Marion, Cécille Vermette, Florence Fillion, Noëlla Marion, David Marion, Georges Marion, Germaine Desautels, Hortense Ayotte, Fernande Marion, Agathe Gratton, Irène Fontaine, Léo Marion, Denise Barnabé and Yvette Fontaine.

He is survived by : his children, Carol Marchand, Denis (Sarah Gould) and Mona Boss (Jim); his grandchildren, Jordan Marchand (Delaney), Adrian Marchand (Jonie), Kaitlynn Lomnes (Cory), Lara Breadner (Cameron), Leah Proulx, Alyssa Boss, Keegan Quinton (Rylan Wood) and Kimberly Quinton (Matthew Messer); and his great grandchildren, Makylah, Emma, Abigail, Lilia Lomnes, Oliver, Xavier Proulx, Braeden, Maverick Marchand and Magnolia Breadner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, and many family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lake of the Woods Hospital Foundation.
