She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Markham and Mabel Markham; her in-laws, Carl and Blanche Walsten; and her siblings, Betty Lindsay, Hazel Major and Phil Markham.
She is survived by: her husband Wendell; her sons, Kevin, Lizzy, Chad and Shannon; her grandchildren, Cooper Marin and Franny; her daughter Wendy (Hal); her grandchildren, Rob and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Walker and Ellis; her grandchild Jori; her great grandchild Josh; her brothers, Duncan, David, Dickie and Alan (Carol); Tessa, Nathan, Olena, Milana, Nolan, Spencer, Cally-Ann, Quinn, Mannix and Shanoah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (429 2nd St S, Kenora, ON P9N1G7).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Pinecrest Home Auxiliary.
