He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence (Evelyn) and Pauline; his brother Larry; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Elsie Paulson; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia and Ron Olson.

He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Mitchell and Michelle (Darrick); his pets, Molly and Jasper; his brother Brent (Cheryl); and his in-laws, Margaret Morgan, Fay Balchin (Rod), Gordon Paulson (Della), Leanne Klatt (Mike) and Karen Pearson. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
