He is survived by: his significant other Joannie Brittain; his children, Ariel (Jarod), Owen and Dylan; his granddaughter Maya; his parents, Wayne Cobiness and Rena Mackinac; his siblings, Darryl Mackinac, Malik Cobiness, Rebecca Mackinac, Kaitlyn Cobiness and Elicia Cobiness; his aunt Joanne Cobiness (Chops); his mother-in-law Doreen Jamieson; and his uncle Merv (Tina).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A wake will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dalles Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Gymnasium (22 Band Office Rd, Dalles, ON P9N0J2).
