He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel and Veronica; his siblings, Jane, Dorothy, Priscilla, Larry, Wilbert, Martin, Gilbert, Lewiso, Leonard, Emerick, William (Mutto) and Mary; his daughter Shannon Shannacappo; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica Perrault; his great grandchild Tristan; and his stepdaughter Lorraine Cobiness.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his daughters, Michelle (Lucien) and Tanya Perrault; his stepchildren, Linda, Leanne, Tracey Cobiness and Junior Cobiness; his grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Camden, Jayden, Courtney, Cassidy, DJ, Hunter, Nick, Alex, Shyanne, Jordan, Madison, Sydney, Ronni, Talia and Bryston; his great grandchildren, Jennette, Matthew, Trey, Ally, Aliyah, Cheylene, Shyanne, Devin, Tianna, Miigwan and Carla; and his nephew Brian (Cathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Centre in Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation on Friday (22 Band Office Rd, Dalles, ON P9N0J2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Niishaachewan. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Woods Cemetery (750 9th St N, Kenora, ON P9N3H2).
