Sharon Barr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Barr (Kenora, Ontario), born in Vita, Manitoba, who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lange and Ella Lange; her parents-in-law, Reginald and Helen Barr; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Lange and Tony Barr.
She is survived by: her significant other John; her children, Megan Dokuchie (Rob) and Scott (Lisa); her grandson Jack; her pets, Wendy, Greg Dokuchie and Marble Barr; her siblings, Clarence, Glenn Lange (Brenda) and JoAnn Trafton (Walter); and her in-laws, Shirley Bonsteel (Gary), Kris Barr, Jane Barr and Helen Calder. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Sharon's memory to St. Alban's Cathedral in Kenora or to the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation (Toronto), in support of the Centre for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy.
