He was predeceased by: his sister Lori Smart. He is survived by: his spouse Bridgette Patterson of Keswick; his children, Ashley Patterson (Adam Koomar) of Innisfil and Ryan Patterson (Lindsay Cox) of Richmond Hill; his grandchildren, Nahlia, Abigail and Elijah; his parents-in-law, Grace of Keswick, Gary Woon Jr. (Gela) of Keswick and Stephen Woon (Rosie) of Scarborough; and his nieces, Natalie, Ramina and Armita.
