Arthur Hartwig Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 76, Arthur Hartwig of Killaloe, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arthur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Hartwig and Dan Hartwig; and his siblings, Bud and Madline (late Roy). He is survived by: his siblings, Mel (late Rose), Darlene (Terry) and Beverly (late Nelson); his children, Jennifer (Kenneth) and Richard; and his grandson Gerald (Kaila Mitchell). He is also survived by his many friends, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church (786 Schutt Rd, Palmer Rapids, ON K0J2E0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
