She was predeceased by : her husband John McDonald; her parents, John-Joe O'Brien and Susan O'Brien (Jackson); and her children, Linda and Cameron.

She is survived by : her children, Lorraine (Terry Soble), Barry, Kevin, Wayne, Mark, Joel (Linda Llyode), Jody Jessup and Berdina (Rodger Stevenson). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
