He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paquette and Doreen Paquette; his stepfather Frank Lisk; his brother Arthur Paquette; and his nephew Richard Brennan.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Young; his children, Allison Paquette and Samantha Paquette; his grandchildren, Ava, Mason, Bentley, Kylie and Denver; his close friend Bruce Prendergast; his pet Bandit; his sister Sandra (Billy Brennan); his nephew Jamie Brennan; his brother Mike Paquette (Rikki); his nieces, Gretchen and Gracie; and his sister Heather Paquette.
