He was predeceased by: his sister Vera. He is survived by: his spouse Velma; his children, Barry of Grand Valley, Gwen Bartlett (Steve) of Cookstown, Gayle Gibson (Ted) of Collingwood and Kevin (Lynn) of Singhampton; his grandchildren, Sheri-Lyn (Francis), Brandon (Aleesha), Danielle (David), Chrystal (Michael), Robert (Rose), Michael (Lacey), Ryan (Kim), Travis, Shane (Kayla) and Jake; and his brothers, Edgar McConnell (Ruth) of Leamington and Fern McDermid (Ivan) of Flesherton.

Donations to Hospice Georgian Triangle (Campbell House) would be greatly appreciated.
