He was predeceased by : his brothers, Art Gibson (Mary), James Gibson and Larry Gibson; and his parents, Gordon Gibson and Hazel Gibson (Newman).

He is survived by : his wife Audrey Gibson (Moore); his children, Brian, Harriet Gibson of Kincardine, Debbie, Swayne Thomas of Waterloo, Tom and Barb Gibson of Clifford; his grandchildren, Katherine Gibson, Andrew Gibson, Kelley, Keisha Thomas, Donald Smith, Easton Thomas, Sharon, Adam Gibson, Hannah, Jen Gibson and Sara Gibson; his siblings, Terry, Joanne Gibson and Gary Gibson; and his sisters-in-law, Muriel Gibson and Marilyn Gibson. He is also survived by his family, and any time spent with his family and friends.
