It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David James McFarlane (Kincardine, Ontario), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Tim McFarlane (Karrie); his grandson Brett Snell; his parents, Albert McFarlane and Dorothy McFarlane (Pryce); and his siblings, Alan, Lois Bothwell and Maureen Noakes.
He is survived by: his wife Gilda; his children, Tracey Snell (Paul), Michael McFarlane and Todd McFarlane (Karen); his grandchildren, Elyse Snell (Eddy Silva), Brianne Horan (Colton), Cierra, Mitchell McFarlane and Mairin McFarlane; and his sister Anne Smith.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home (757 Princes St, Kincardine, ON N2Z1Z5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davey-Linklater Chapel (757 Princes St, Kincardine, ON N2Z1Z5).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated by David's family.
