He was predeceased by: his wife Marion; and his siblings, Theodore "Ted" Van Erp and Catherina "Toni" Kostuik. He is survived by: his son Matthew Van Erp; and his grandchildren, Jaedyn and Taryn.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Cemetery.
