He was predeceased by: his grandson Marcus Adams; his siblings, William Adams (May), Beryl Kidder (Cyril), Bernard Adams (Kathleen), Irene Birdsall (Neville), Frank Adams (Mona) and Gilbert Adams (Jean); and his parents, William and Gladwyn.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his daughters, Carolyn Norman (Dan) of Kincardine, Janet (Brian Stoliker) of Kincardine and Sharon Shaudenecker (Micheal) of Goderich; his grandchildren, Kerri (Samuel), Bryce (Rachael) and Spencer; and his sister-in-law Jean Adams of South Wales, UK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
