She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Millard; her son Robert; and her daughter-in-law Laurel. She is survived by : her son Charles; her daughter-in-law Odette; her grandchildren, Robert (Lindsay), Lindsay (Jeff), David (Julie), Hayley (Jamie) and Andrew (MacKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Mya, Sophie, Addison, Aimee, Finley and Laurel.

She was recognized for her contributions to the community as Senior of the Year in 2004.
