It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Klaas Smidts of Kincardine, Ontario, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Klaas Smidts to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Anne Flikweert; his son Ray Smidts (Wendy) of Stratford; and his parents, Klaas Smidts and Lybet. He is survived by : his sons, Nick Smidts (Marie) of Woodstock, John Smidts (Karen) of Stratford and Jack Smidts (Marge) of Canfield.
