He is survived by: his wife Janet "Dianne" Heinisch; his sons, Joseph Heinisch (Janet) and Karl Heinisch (Christine); his grandchildren, Klara, Tyler, Kayla and Nicholas; his sisters, Johanna Wirtulars (Harry) and Ursula Heinisch-Teike (Enno); his brother-in-law Jack MacDonald (Christine); and his siblings' children, Monika Schittkowski (Dierk), Susanne Dethloff (Wirtulars), Darrin MacDonald (Charlie) and Matt MacDonald (Meaghan).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ripley Community Centre or the Lion's Foundation of Canada Dog Guides are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
