It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynn Scharfenberg of Kincardine, Ontario, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Roland Scharfenberg; her parents, Dennis Groombridge and Vera Groombridge; and her brother-in-law Randolf Scharfenberg. She is survived by : her daughters, Sarah Scharfenberg (Zack Kranjec) of Kincardine and Heather McCrae (Corey) of Kincardine; her sister Carol Withers of Toronto; and her parents-in-law, Ulf Scharfenberg (Rollande) of Kincardine, Lisel Kanter (Manfred) of Port Stanley, Anne Kretzschmar (David) of Mission, B. C. and Joni Scharfenberg of Fairbanks, Alaska.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Kincardine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
