In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ross Atkinson; her children, Angela Merritt (Bill) and Gail Atkinson; her grandchildren, Joe Merritt, Heidi Robson and James Merritt; and her great grandchildren, Dahlia Robson and Brantley Merritt.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davey-Linklater Chapel (757 Princes St, Kincardine, ON N2Z1Z5).
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Parkinson Society Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
