He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nigel and Susan Burns; his brother-in-law Bert Emmerton; and his parents, Geoffrey West-Gaul and May West-Gaul.

He is survived by: his siblings, David (Terri) of Cannington and Sally Emmerton (Malvin Sonnenberg) of Sherwood Park, AB..
