Shirley Thompson Obituary

We announce the death of Shirley Thompson in Kincardine, Ontario, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Thompson; her parents, Cottrill Morris and Anelia Morris; and her parents-in-law, Murdock and Gladys Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen, Cheryl, Barbara (Scott) and John (Catharine); her grandchildren, Sam (Linzi), Tom (Nicole), Martin, Rob, Matt (Meg), Liz (Ryan), Laura (Max), Ben (Pam), Sean (Bela), Cate (James) and Peter; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Heath, Madison, Ophelia, Theodore and Kylie; and her sisters-in-law, Eleanor Thompson and Shirley Bourgeois (Bob). She is also survived by many family members and friends.
