He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; his parents, Michel Hnatkowski and Maria Hnatkowski; his siblings, Gladys Ernst and Walter Hnatkowski; and his brother-in-law Zoltan Ganyu.
He is survived by: his daughters, Irene Harris (Neil) of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Patricia Perkins of Kincardine; his grandchildren, Matthew Harris (Julia), Nolan Harris, Kevin Harris (Courtney), Troy Perkins and Dallas Perkins (Emily); his great grandchildren, Jack, Benjamin, Sonny, Cameron, Liam and Alla; his sisters, Jozia Kurjanczyk, Helen Blazejak and Jean Macdonald; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Ganyu and Donna Dwyer.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation in place of flowers would be greatly appreciated by the family.
